What You Need Before Starting
- DoubleScale Pro installed and activated
- A Meta Business Account (business.facebook.com)
- A WhatsApp Business Account with a dedicated phone number
- Meta WhatsApp Business API access
- Pre-approved message templates
Step 1: Create a Meta WhatsApp Business API Account
- Go to developers.facebook.com and create a new app (type: Business)
- Add the WhatsApp product to your app
- Complete WhatsApp Business onboarding: verify business, add phone number, set display name
- Generate a Permanent Access Token from Meta Business Suite
- Note your Phone Number ID and WhatsApp Business Account ID
Step 2: Connect WhatsApp to DoubleScale
- In WordPress, go to DoubleScale → Settings → WhatsApp
- Enter your Access Token, Phone Number ID, and Business Account ID
- Click Test Connection

Step 4: Build WooCommerce WhatsApp Automations
Order Confirmation WhatsApp
Trigger: WooCommerce Order Completed → Action: Send WhatsApp with Order Confirmation template → Map order variables to template placeholders.
Abandoned Cart Recovery (Multi-Channel)
Trigger: Abandoned Cart (60 min) → Email reminder → Wait 4 hours → Check purchased? → No: WhatsApp abandoned cart message → Wait 18 hours → Check purchased? → No: SMS with discount.
Expected Results
