Website tracking

See which pages each contact visits on your site

DoubleScale records the pages your known contacts view on your WordPress site and puts every visit on their timeline. Use that activity to score leads, build segments and decide what each automation does next.

  • Included in every paid plan
  • Stored in your WordPress database
How it works

From first visit to a full activity history

Tracking follows people who are already your contacts, so every visit belongs to a real name on your list.

  1. 1

    A visitor browses your site

Before they sign up, the pages they view are kept in a short-lived cookie in their browser, not in your contacts.

  2. 2

    They subscribe or log in

When the visitor subscribes through a form or logs in to WordPress, DoubleScale matches them to their contact and adds those earlier visits.

  3. 3

Every visit lands on the timeline

From then on, each page they view is saved with the time of the visit, next to their emails, deals, bookings and tickets.

What you can do

Turn page views into sales signals

Visits on the contact timeline

See the pages each contact viewed and when, in the same timeline as their emails, deals, bookings and tickets.

Visits before signup included

Pages viewed just before someone subscribes are added to their record, so you see what brought them in.

Lead scoring from page views

Give points when a contact visits your site, so active leads rise to the top of the list.

Segments by pages visited

Filter contacts by the pages they visited, or by whether they were active on your site in a period.

Automation conditions

Branch a workflow on whether a contact visited a page, for example send a case study only to people who saw Pricing.

Ready for your AI assistant

The built-in MCP server lets AI assistants read a contact's page visits, without IP addresses or browser details.

Know who is ready

Follow up while the interest is fresh

A contact who reads your pricing page twice in a week is telling you something. Website tracking makes that visible and lets your automations act on it.

  • Segment hot leads: everyone who visited Pricing in the last 7 days.
  • Branch automations: send a demo invite if they saw Pricing, a guide if they did not.
  • Re-engage quiet contacts: find people who have not been active on your site for 30 days.

Your visitor data stays on your server

Page visits are saved in your own WordPress database, not sent to an outside analytics service. Only contacts who subscribed or logged in are tracked.

  • No third-party tracking service
  • Known contacts only
  • Turn the module off any time
FAQ

Website tracking questions

How visitor tracking works in DoubleScale.

Which visitors does DoubleScale track?

Only your known contacts. Tracking starts when a visitor subscribes through a form or logs in to WordPress, and DoubleScale links their visits to that contact. Anonymous traffic is not added to your contacts.

What happens to visits before someone signs up?

The pages a visitor views before signing up are held briefly in a cookie in their browser. When they subscribe or log in, those visits are added to their contact timeline.

Where is the tracking data stored?

In your own WordPress database, in DoubleScale's page visits table. Nothing is sent to an outside analytics service.

Can I use page visits in automations and lead scoring?

Yes. Page visits can add lead score points, filter contacts and segments, and act as conditions in automations, such as whether a contact visited a page or was active in a period.

Which plan includes website tracking?

Website tracking is part of DoubleScale Pro, included in the Basic, Plus and Enterprise plans.
