Post-Submission Actions
- Add to List: assign new contacts to a specific list
- Apply Tags: tag based on form type or field values
- Trigger Automation: start a specific automation immediately on submission
- Create Deal: create a sales pipeline deal with data from form fields
- Assign Owner: assign the contact to a team member based on field values
Use Cases
Request a Quote Form
Form collects name, email, company, budget range, project description. On submission: create contact, apply tag quote-request, create deal in Lead stage with budget as deal value, trigger Quote Request automation (acknowledgement email plus internal notification), assign to sales team member.
Free Trial Signup Form
Form collects name, email, website URL. On submission: create contact, add to Trial Users list, trigger Trial Onboarding automation (7-email onboarding sequence).
Event Registration Form
Form collects name, email, ticket type. On submission: create contact, apply tag Event Summit 2026, add to Event Attendees list, trigger event confirmation email plus reminder sequence.
DoubleScale respects Gravity Forms conditional logic. If a field is hidden by conditional logic and not submitted, DoubleScale simply leaves that property empty — it does not error or fail the submission.
